Melati Wijsen is a world-renowned changemaker, speaker, and founder of YOUTHTOPIA, a platform that empowers the next generation of changemakers. She founded Bye Bye Plastic Bags at the age of 12, sparking a decade-long journey in environmental advocacy and policy change. Melati has opened the stage for President Barack Obama, moderated National Geographic's Sustainability Week in Bangkok, and spoken at the United Nations. She has co-chaired the World Economic Forum's GPAP Committee, served on the inaugural Earthshot Prize Expert Advisory Panel, and saw her film Bigger Than Us premiere at Cannes. Her first book, Change Starts Now, was published with HarperCollins.
