Louis De Jaeger transforms landscapes into regenerative ecosystems that challenge how we produce, consume, and relate to the earth. As founder and CEO of Commensalist, a landscape architecture firm, he has designed over 1,500 hectares of food forests and ecological projects across the world. His work is guided by three principles: regenerate land, inspire people, and celebrate the transition with joy rather than sacrifice. Louis is also an award-winning filmmaker whose documentary Eat More Trees introduces the potential of food tree systems, and the author of two books exploring the future of agriculture and food. Through design, storytelling, and international speaking, he advocates for sustainability grounded in systems thinking, beauty, and real-world transformation.
