Kolin Schunck has spent his career exploring what comes next — how technologies emerge, how markets shift and how humanity decides to move through the world. He began in aerospace at Airbus, working on technology scouting, before deepening his expertise through research at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a visiting stint at Northwestern's Kellogg School. Today, as Senior Manager Strategy for Digital Solutions at Lufthansa Technik, he helps one of aviation's most established players decide which technological bets are truly worth making. Previously, at the Lufthansa Innovation Hub and Roland Berger, he became one of the internationally recognised voices on air taxis and the future of air travel, with appearances at the Paris Air Show, ILA Berlin and Revolution Aero. Alongside his corporate work he writes the newsletters Stock & Flow and Kolin's AeroTechPulse. An Ironman triathlete and lifelong adventurer, he is drawn to the edge of what feels possible. His argument is simple and harder than it sounds: most of what we celebrate as progress was never tested against the only question that matters — whether it actually makes life better, and for whom.
