Kobe Ilsen has spent 25 years shaping the Flemish media landscape as a journalist, presenter, director, and radio host. He began his career at ATV and went on to work both behind and in front of the camera for major television programs, including The Block, De Rode Loper, Vlaanderen Vakantieland, VOLT, De Laatste Week, Over Eten, Blind Gekocht, Over Mijn Lijf and more. For over a decade, he has also been a trusted voice on Radio 1. His program #Weetikveel grew into one of Flanders' most listened‑to podcasts. Kobe’s work has taken him across the globe, from Rio’s favelas to Mosul, Tokyo, American Samoa, Hawai‘i, and Mongolia, always guided by his greatest ambition to make information, however complex, accessible to the widest possible audience. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading professionals, given numerous presentations, hosted huge events, and remained committed to this strong ethical principle: never lie, and always aim for the truth.
