Jeff Chang is Product Lead for the Lyria team at Google DeepMind, where he focuses on AI-powered tools for music creators. Before joining DeepMind in early 2025, he spent over 14 years in product management at Google, playing an instrumental role in building large-scale products including Google Chrome, Android, and YouTube. Outside his day job, Jeff is a musician who grew up playing piano, clarinet, and bass guitar, and has been releasing electronic music as JC++ since 2018. His work sits at the meeting point of deep technical craft and creative practice — combining technical skill with creative acumen to bring teams together around shared goals.
