Harry Haeck is a Partner at Smartfin, where he invests in early- and growth-stage B2B technology companies and works closely with portfolio companies at board level. He joined the firm in 2021 and became Partner in 2023, and currently sits on the boards of Emma, CrazyGames, Payflip and Hex-Rays, among others. He brings a multidisciplinary background spanning private equity, venture and growth investing, corporate finance, banking and law. Before Smartfin he advised the Belgian Growth Fund and held several investment and M&A roles at BNP Paribas Fortis and BNP Paribas, having started out in banking and finance law at Liedekerke and Deloitte Legal. He holds a Master in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School, a Master of Science in Management from KU Leuven and a Master of Laws from Ghent University. Across his career he has built a strong track record in investment execution, board-level support and scaling technology businesses across Europe. He is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
