Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a globally recognised humanitarian and spiritual leader whose work over more than 45 years has reached more than one billion people across 182 countries with the vision of a stress-free, violence-free society. He is founder of the Art of Living Foundation, one of the world's largest volunteer-led organisations, with over one million volunteers and 40,000+ trained facilitators advancing peacebuilding, mental well-being, community resilience, and environmental restoration worldwide. Gurudev introduced SKY Breath Meditation (Sudarshan Kriya), one of the most widely studied breathwork techniques globally, with research from Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge and the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs system showing sustained reductions in stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and burnout. As a peace envoy, he has played key roles in mediating conflicts in Colombia, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Côte d'Ivoire and India, including the reconciliation process after Colombia's 52-year civil war. He has received the highest civilian honours from multiple countries and is recognised as a unifying voice in a divided world.
