
Elisabeth Honinx is an R&D researcher at VITO, specialising in data-driven innovation in healthcare and prevention. With a background in clinical psychology, neuropsychology and social health sciences, she is particularly interested in the human side of technology and how digital health solutions can become not only smarter but also more meaningful, ethical and accessible. She combines real-world research with stakeholder collaboration, working with healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, industry and citizens to co-create health innovations that start from people's needs. She contributes to projects on inclusive health innovation, data-driven prevention and digital health literacy, including initiatives such as WellData and We Are. By connecting human behaviour, data and innovation, she aims to help shape a future of intelligent healthcare that people can genuinely trust and benefit from.
