Dr. Marconi Campos-Cerqueira is a Brazilian tropical ecologist with over 20 years of experience in biodiversity monitoring and conservation. He led the development of Arbimon, a globally recognised ecoacoustic monitoring platform, and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications cited over 2,000 times. He now spearheads the development of innovative conservation technologies at the nonprofit WildMon, equipping local communities and conservation partners with accessible tools to monitor biodiversity, inform on-the-ground decision-making, and advance the long-term protection of ecosystems.
