Béatrice de Mahieu is Deputy-CEO at Finance & Invest Brussels, a public-interest company financing value-creating businesses in the Brussels Region, and an expert in innovation, entrepreneurship, digitalisation, AI, and transformation. Since 1999 she has held growth and digital transformation roles at Telenet, Microsoft, and Lagardère, and from 2011 mentored and invested in technology and social impact start-ups. She led Co.Station Belgium and then BeCode as CEO, the latter a social impact coding organisation reskilling jobseekers and workers across Belgium. She sits on the boards of Proximus Group, Trividend, Les Petits Riens Foundation, akkanto, and The Shift, and on the investment committees of the Vlaio innovation fund and Miles Ahead deep tech and AI fund. A graduate of IHECS, she is co-author of Pimento Map (2014) and Shiftmakers (2022).
