Bart Haex is Chief Science and Policy Officer at Kom op tegen Kanker, the Belgian Cancer Society. During his MSc and PhD at KU Leuven, he researched the physical, physiological, and psychological dimensions of sleep, work captured in the book Back and Bed and translated into two spinoff companies. Through his professorship at Maastricht University on the valorisation of research, his MBA at Vlerick Business School, and his work at Adelante Care Group on health innovation and digitisation, he brings a multidisciplinary view of how technology, business models, and care delivery can make personalised health a reality for patients.
