Antonie C. Fountain is Co-founder and Managing Director of the VOICE Network and VOCAL alliance — two global networks of civil society organisations working respectively in sustainable cocoa and coffee. A keynote speaker and author of numerous publications, he has been actively advocating for sustainable commodities for almost two decades. His dedication to the cocoa sector earned him recognition as Chevalier de l'Ordre National of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. A former faith leader and erstwhile aspiring rock-musician, Antonie brings an unexpectedly human dimension to sustainability advocacy. He lives near the forests of the Dutch Veluwe with his wife and four children, and in his free time plays guitar and rides his collection of steel bicycles.
